Letter from a Pilgrim

From: Gloria Galang

Elaine,

I hope you are well. Thank you so much for keeping me on your mailing list! Just being able to hear/read about where the pilgrims are and how things are moving, just brings it all back. Reading your e-mail updates today, I almost cried (sitting here in front of my computer at work.) I am continually touched by all of this and it's hard for me to believe, still (even though I've already been back home in San Francisco for over 2 and a half months) that I am here and the Pilgrimage continues as a living, breathing organism moving throughout various parts of the earth.

Upon my initial return, I just tried to "soak in" life as usual and found it very difficult. Ended up connecting with pilgrims I had never even met before, via telephone, and found that very comforting. Then all of a sudden, an abundance of correspondence from various Pilgrims still on the walk! It felt so great to connect with everyone again... and to know that they had not forgotten about me. So many blessings.

Please extend my peace and love to all the amazing Pilgrims who have touched my life (especially to those closest to my heart...they know who they are) and let them know that they are ALWAYS in my prayers. (Keep sending those postcards!)

As for me, I am still traversing my path in my own way and it does feel good to be home, close to family and friends.

May our paths continue to take us where we need to be,
